Within the National Park, Keilder offers excellent watersports facilities, walking and cycling for all abilities and nesting Osprey.

Within easy reach of most of Hadrians Wall including some of the best preserved roman forts in the UK, Housesteads and Vindolanda and the new visitors centre The Sill.
Dark Skies

Explore the wonders of the night sky at Keilder Observatory.
Pennine Way
For walkers the Pennine Way passes our front door as does the Derby to Berwick cycle Route 68.
Hareshaw Linn

This local beauty spot, and natural waterfall is but a short walk from us, close by to the carriage tearooms, a converted railway carriage that does outstanding tea, cakes and light snacks.
Nearby
The quaint village of Rothbury is within an hours drive, as are the National Trust properties of Cragside and Wallington. Also Alnwick Castle and Gardens, and the Northumberland coast are also within easy reach.
